Comments:
Exactly the bike I was looking for....drop bars, disc brakes, with some added braun and brute strength. The bike is relatively heavy compared to my full carbon roadie. The extra beef adds piece of mind for heavier riders. The bike handles really well on corners, curb hops and very light gravel. 3/4" packed gravel ok. Loose 3/4" gravel is trouble.

Comments:
Selected the Giant Anyroad 1 after trying out a bunch of Cyclocross bikes primarily for fitness cross-training. The geometry, components and stock tire/wheel set up make for a very quick, nimble, relatively light weight road/gravel/light trail bike for the novice or weekend warrior type. Notably, the finish on the frame is really nice with smooth welds which make it look like a carbon bike. It comes in a flat grey/black tones with tasteful royal blue accents and handle bar tape. The bike feels great on the road and feels very capable and solid. I'm very happy I picked this bike.
